What is a Room, from a founder's perspective?+

A Room is your testing ground on Diskorse. See Rooms & Basics.

Real signal, not guesses

How Problem Solver works

Problem Solver is where you bring an idea, a product, or a decision and get real input from people, not a stranger's five second reaction.

For example: say you're thinking about launching an avocado based skincare mask. You post the idea on Diskorse, invite people who know skincare, and optionally run a poll for broader reaction.
Anyone can browse open Problem Solvers for free. Posting your own, or applying to contribute, needs the Engage plan ($5/mo). See Pricing & Fees.
Two sides, one feature

Which side are you on?

Posting a Problem Solver
1

Share it, in as much detail as you want

Post your idea, product, or decision. You don't need to have it all figured out first.

2

Invite specific people

Bring in people from Diskorse, or invite someone from outside.

3

Review, and accept who you want to pay

See who's interested. You decide who to accept, and set the price per person.

4

Have a private conversation

Each accepted conversation is just between you and that person. Payment sits in escrow until it wraps.

5

Vouch for who actually helped

When you're done, vouch for anyone who gave you real value.

Want lighter, faster input instead? Run a poll and let anyone vote or drop a quick opinion.

1

Browse open requests

See what people are working through and what they're offering to pay for input.

2

Apply with your case

Briefly explain why you're a good fit.

3

Get accepted, get talking

If the founder picks you, you'll have a private, paid conversation with them.

4

Get paid once it wraps

Diskorse releases the escrowed payment once the conversation is marked complete.

5

Build your Vouches

A conversation that goes well can earn you a Vouch toward setting up Counsel later.

Turning contributions into Counsel

The Vouches you earn here carry over as credibility toward setting up your own Counsel.
